It's official... the River Rat Pack Tour is a go-go! They've already christened the barge with a very special guest.
On Saturday 10th May and Sunday the 11th May The River Rat Pack Tour played an impromptu set of gigs from the roof of their barge, whilst travelling along the canals between Victoria Park and Camden.
SixNationState, Beans On Toast, Nat Jenkins, Derek Meins, Josh Weller and Jay Jay Pistolet all played free acoustic sets to hundreds of people along the route, and on Saturday night over 1,000 people gathered at Camden Lock for a two and a half hour show featuring all the bands, and a special three song set from Luke Pritchard from The Kooks. On Sunday all the bands took the show onto dry land for another free show at The Lock Tavern for their Sensible Sunday night.
Keep your eye out for the River Rat Pack Tour at:
London Camden Lock 17 (June 1)
Henley The Bull (June 4)
Reading The Oakford (June 5)
Goring riverside (June 6)
Abingdon The Unicorn Theatre (June 7)

So, which brave (crazy) artists have been enlisted for the River Rat Pack Tour? We can assure you that they are all fine, upstanding citizens with well honed boat skills. They can sing a mean tune and bash instruments together too. Allow us to introduce you to the River Rat Pack:
SixNationState
This group of talented sods released their self titled debut album in late 2007, and have spent the last two years touring the world. They have played over 300 shows In America, Europe and the UK and have toured with The Maccabees, The Wombats, Jack Penate, Pete and The Pirates, The Rumble Strips, The Holloways and The Pigeon Detectives.
Radio 1s Zane Lowe is obviously a fan, and they've also had airplay on BBC6 Music and XFM.
SixNationState are renowned for their amazing live shows and Indie / Ska & Reggae tinged music, They will mix their full live band set with acoustic performances on the Barge Tour.
